Becky graduated from the University of Georgia and went on to complete hygiene school at Middle Georgia Technical College. She always knew she wanted to work with children. She loves making a child smile and making them feel comfortable. She likes teaching them that going to the dentist can be a fun experience. In her spare time, she enjoys doing things with her family and friends. She is married with two daughters and a supermutt! She also enjoys cheering for the Etowah Eagles, GA Bulldogs and the Braves!

Brynlie graduated high school early to begin her career in dentistry. She has been a dental assistant since November of 2022. She loves working with children and aspires to be a mom one day. Her favorite part of her job is learning new things and meeting new people. She recently got married and moved to Georgia from her hometown in Idaho. In her free time, Brynlie and her husband enjoy trying new food and shopping. She also loves spending time with her two kitties, Peach and Mittens.

Carlisa recently began her career in the dental field. She loves being a dental assistant and building rapport with the children. She enjoys talking to the kids and listening to their imaginative stories. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, taking her son to the park, cleaning, cooking, reading stories to her son and talking to friends and family.

Originally from Colombia, Mairen has worked in the dental field for many years. She moved to the USA in 2020. As a mom, she loves working with children. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is the fast-paced environment and being able to speak with so many people in one day. When she’s not working, Mairen enjoys drawing, listening to music, watching anime, reading manga, being outdoors and spending time with her baby.

Vannesa is attending the University of West Georgia with a study in Computer Science. She also attended the Dental Careers Institute. As a dental assistant at HPD, she enjoys working with all the children. She loves that they are each unique and sweet. It makes everyday a little different. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, playing video games with her friends and watching anime.

Valerie has been a part of our practice for many years. You’ll remember her by her bright smile and warm personality. She enjoys being able to serve the present and future oral health needs of our patients. She also enjoys the challenge of a lifetime of learning since there are always new standards and practices for oral health. In her free time, her greatest adventure is finding a new national park to hike with her husband and pup.

Andre is currently a student at Georgia State University studying Film and Media. He is our main point of contact for sedation scheduling and coordinating. Andre enjoys assisting our patients and their parents in getting the quality assistance they deserve. He prides himself on helping our parents are well informed of the sedation process and making them feel as comfortable as possible going through the procedure. In his free time, he likes to watch movies, play volleyball and hang out with his friends.

When you enter our practice, you will be warmly greeted by Haylee at the front desk! She loves seeing each and every child that comes into the office. She likes having the opportunity to make the children feel at ease before their appointment and create that initial fun environment for our patients. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and traveling.

Heather has been at our practice for many years and is very passionate about the HPD family, including all of our wonderful patients and parents. She graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Human Services Administration. When she’s not working she loves reading, playing board games, catching up on the latest episodes of her favorite shows and hanging out with her husband and husky, Sindri.

Karina graduated from Dental Staff School in 2023 and began working in the general dentistry field shortly afterwards as an assistant. She soon realized she loved working with kids and preferred the administrative aspects of the field and joined our practice. She finds looking at x-rays fascinating and loves to interact with our patients and their parents. She believes seeing so many happy children makes her job fun! In her spare time, she enjoys running outdoors and going to the gym.

Sara graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a degree in Film Studies. All of our insurance verification is handled by her. She diligently works to get insurance benefits verified for patients in order to get their necessary treatment at the rates their insurance provides. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, helping out at her church, time with friends and family, and making jewelry.

Valeria is currently studying Theater at the University of West Georgia. As part of our administrative team, she coordinates between benefit eligibility and services needed for each patient that comes into the office. She enjoys working with the HPD team because it’s a fun environment with amazing people. When she’s not at school or working, she enjoys out with her dog, Frodo, watching anime and building theater sets.
