Here are ten easy tips to help improve your child’s dental health.

1. Visit your dentist twice a year for check-ups

2.  Brush teeth at least twice a day

3. Brush after eating sweets

4.  Use a fluoridated toothpaste

5. Floss teeth daily

6. Avoid high sugar and carbonated beverages

7. Drink more water and milk

8. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables

9. Avoid refined carbohydrates

10. Eat more high calcium foods such as cheese and yogurts

Coronavirus Update

In response to the uncharted territory of COVID-19 and commitment to protect our patients, employees, and community at large, Herrin Pediatric Dentistry will be closed the next 2 weeks (with a planned reopening of March 30th). We will reassess at the end of this time period and hope to reopen then. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call our office for assistance, we will continue to see emergency patients on a case by case basis. Any appointments cancelled during this time will be rescheduled as soon as we are open again and we will reach out to make a new appointment time ASAP.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We encourage and urge everyone to practice social distancing to limit the spread of this virus so we can keep each other safe and resume our regular lives as quickly as possible. Please remain vigilant and remember that even if you are asymptomatic you can still spread COVID-19 to others. We are thinking about each of our patients and families during this difficult time and praying for the safety of everyone.
